1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Roomy — including downloading it from the Google Play Store, installing it, or using any of its features — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the app on behalf of someone else or an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind them to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Roomy is an Android app that helps you clean up your photo and video gallery to free up storage. The app provides:

• Scanning your gallery to identify photos, videos, screenshots, duplicates, similar photos, and large files
• Reviewing media using a fast swipe interface — delete, keep, or set aside for later
• Automatic detection of duplicate and similar photos using on-device image fingerprints
• Reviewing your selections before confirming deletion
• Deleting media via Android's system delete — move to Trash (recoverable for 30 days) or permanent delete
• Tracking storage freed and files cleaned

Features may be added, changed, or removed in future updates.

3. Free to Use

Roomy is free to download and use. We may introduce optional paid features or an ad-supported model in future versions. If we do, those features and any associated terms will be clearly described within the app and this document will be updated accordingly. The current version does not contain ads or in-app purchases.

4. Your Responsibilities and Safe Use

When using Roomy, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful personal purposes
• Review your selections carefully before confirming any deletion
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
• Not interfere with, disrupt, or bypass any feature or security measure of the app
• Not use the app in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws
• Keep your device and Android OS reasonably up to date

5. Deletion of Your Media — Important

• Permanent deletion cannot be undone. If you choose permanent delete, those photos and videos are removed from your device and cannot be recovered by Roomy.
• Trash items follow Android's rules. Items moved to Trash are managed by Android and are typically recoverable for 30 days, after which the system removes them.
• Back up important media first. We strongly recommend backing up any media you value before cleaning. Roomy is not responsible for media you choose to delete.

6. Data & Privacy

Your photos and videos stay on your device. Roomy processes all media locally and never uploads, sells, or shares your photos or videos.

• Anonymous technical data: Roomy uses Google Firebase (Crashlytics, Analytics, and Cloud Messaging) to deliver notifications and to collect anonymous crash and usage data that helps us keep the app stable. None of these services receive your photos, videos, or file names.
• No account required: Your use of Roomy is local to your device. No registration is needed.
• Data loss risk: If you delete media or clear app data, that action is permanent on your device as described in Section 5.

7. Notifications

Roomy may send notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging. By using the app you agree it may deliver notifications to your device. You can disable them anytime in Android Settings → Apps → Roomy → Notifications.

8. Intellectual Property

Roomy — including its name, logo, design, source code, user interface, icons, and all original content — is the intellectual property of TenDegree and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Roomy on your Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Roomy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of bugs
• Duplicate and similar-photo detection will identify every duplicate or never group a non-duplicate
• The app will be compatible with all current or future Android versions or devices
• Media deleted by your action can be recovered

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roomy and its developer (TenDegree) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the app
• Loss of photos, videos, or other media that you chose to delete using the app
• Inaccurate grouping or detection of duplicate or similar media
• Any changes, suspension, or discontinuation of the app

11. App Updates

We may release updates through the Google Play Store to add features, fix bugs, or comply with changes in Android or Play Store policies. We recommend keeping Roomy updated. Significant changes will be noted in the Play Store update description.

12. Termination

You may stop using Roomy at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling permanently deletes all locally stored cleaning data, fingerprints, and preferences from your device. We reserve the right to discontinue Roomy or restrict access at any time, with or without notice.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Roomy after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Roomy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in the developer's country of residence, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
