About
I started building Android apps as a freelancer in 2019, learning by solving real client problems and shipping apps for real users. Six years later I've worked across product companies on apps in navigation, translation, AI imaging, PDF tooling, weather, finance, TV remotes and utilities.
Most of my work has been on apps with real users at real scale — which means the interesting problems aren't the features, they're the crash rates, the ANRs, the Play Console policy changes, the cold-start times and the migrations that have to happen without breaking a million existing installs.
These days I write Kotlin with Jetpack Compose, keep domain, data and presentation strictly separated, and mentor junior developers on the same. Outside of my full-time role I design and ship my own apps end to end under TenDegree — architecture, UI, release management and everything in between.
Experience
Gamezay Tech · Remote, Sweden
Building, optimising and maintaining Android and iOS applications for a Sweden-based team, fully remote. I own project implementation, deployment and rollout across the product portfolio — AI Face Swap, PDF Reader & Editor, Video Downloader, TV Remote, Weather, Phone Cleaner and navigation apps.
Softaxes · Islamabad
Led the Android team and owned the Maps & Navigation product past 10M+ downloads — route planning, satellite maps, nearby places, compass and speed tracking. Administered source control, supported implementation and rollout, and ran testing and issue resolution across both new and existing applications.
Join App Studio · Islamabad
Built advanced Android applications and shipped update patches, modules and reusable components across the studio's app portfolio.
Jolta · Rawalpindi, on-site
First full-time Android role — moving from solo freelance work into shipping on a team, with code review, release process and production support.
Freelance · Self-employed
Worked with several companies across five-plus projects, including the design and development of an Instagram video downloader and a set of management system apps. This is where I learned the platform.
