Software Update is not affiliated with Google or Google Play. It does not download, host, or install applications itself — all updates are installed through the official Google Play Store, and all uninstalls are performed by the Android system with your explicit confirmation.
Software Update is currently free to download and use. The current version does not display third-party advertisements. We reserve the right to change the feature set or introduce optional paid features or advertising in future versions, with notice given through an updated version of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Your installed app list is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. The app collects only limited anonymous technical data (crash reports and usage statistics) as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The app may show notifications such as update reminders. You can disable these at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Software Update → Notifications.
The app, including its design, branding, and code, is owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. App names, icons, and trademarks of third-party applications shown inside Software Update belong to their respective owners and are displayed only to identify the apps installed on your device.
