Software Update — Update Apps

Data Deletion

Last Updated: July 13, 2026

Software Update does not require an account, and your installed app list never leaves your device. This page explains what data exists, and how to delete all of it.

1. Delete Data Stored on Your Device

All app preferences and settings are stored locally on your device. To delete them:

  1. Open Android Settings → Apps → Software Update
  2. Tap Storage, then Clear data — or simply uninstall the app
That's it for local data. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage permanently removes everything the app stored on your device. We have no copy and cannot recover it.

2. Request Deletion of Anonymous Firebase Data

The app sends limited anonymous technical data (crash reports and usage statistics) to Google Firebase, as described in our Privacy Policy. This data is not linked to your identity, but you may still request that any data associated with your app installation be deleted:

  1. Email us at tendegree.dev@gmail.com
  2. Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
  3. Mention the app name: Software Update — Update Apps

We typically respond within 2–3 business days and complete valid requests within 30 days.
